Design projects Timeframes
The normal timeframe and turnaround time for custom invitations range from 3 to 10 weeks, or longer based on the complexity of the design.
Design times for Logo/Brand Identity
The normal timeframe and turnaround time for Logo design range from 4 to 8 weeks, or longer based on the complexity of the design.
A 50% downpayment is required before all design work for invitations or branding projects begin. This also secures your project on our design calendar. All balances are due before printing begins for design projects, and before design files are delivered.
Please note: Design fees are non refundable.
Communication and the response time between designer and client are essential and ensures that the project is completed within the timeframes referenced above. Not responding in a timely manner can cause a delay in the project timeline and completion date.
Abandonment of Design Projects
Paper Dreams + Keepsakes reserves the rights to remove projects left abandoned by clients from their design calendar. All deposits are forfeited and are considered payment for work already completed.
Abandoned Design Projects are subjected to:
10 business days after deadline has passed will receive 2 flow up emails to reference interest.
28 business days projects are removed from the design calendar.
A 20% “restart fee” will be added to put the project on the design calendar to work towards project completion.
All of our design projects vary but the method and process to get them to you in a timely manner is the same.
All items are processed and printed 7-14 business days before the event. Changes and updates made outside of the original agreement and/or invoice the week of the event will be subjected to rush charges + additional fees.
While we love to assist you with your design needs, we can only take on rush projects when our schedule allows us to.
Most rush projects will take between 1-2 weeks, and will accrue a 40% fee added on to the total project cost. Rush projects must be paid in full before your design project is implemented.
We Do Not Accept requests for design projects the week of the event.
In the event that you have to cancel your order, you must notify Paper Dreams + Keepsakes in writing. If a cancellation occurs and a final design has not been approved, Paper Dreams + Keepsakes will retain the 50% deposit. If a final design has been approved, and production has started, there will be no refund.
Any changes needed after the final design has been approved, will incur an additional fee.
All creative works and digital designs produced by Paper Dreams + Keepsakes is the sole property of Paper Dreams + Keepsakes. Works cannot be reproduced or used unless approved and granted permission.
